Taipei City Tourism Association Holds a Wild Costume Party at Year-End Gala, with All-Girl Band Providing Musical Entertainment

The Taipei City Travel Industry Association held its 2014 year-end annual gala on January 30, with 78 tables set up. In addition to tourism industry representatives, government tourism agencies, local travel associations, airlines, and overseas tourism offices in Taiwan also attended, making it a large-scale event with over 800 participants.

To showcase the vibrancy of the tourism industry, this year the association’s board members got creative by dressing up in famous traditional costumes from around the world, including Native American, cheongsam, and Versailles court attire, among various other eye-catching outfits. The event also featured performances by an all-girl band playing upbeat music, singing acts, and lucky draws for 3C products, flight tickets, and other prizes for members.

Xu Y?mò, Chairman of the Taipei City Travel Industry Association, stated during the event that the association currently has more than 1,300 member companies, and expressed hope that the association will unite its strength for continued growth and development in the future.
