Star Cruises' New 2015 Kaohsiung Itinerary & Hong Kong 5-Day Trip for NT$8,800

Star Cruises announced that this year, the SuperStar Aquarius will arrive in Taiwan earlier in March, with Kaohsiung as its home port. The cruise line has designed itineraries to destinations such as Taichung, Sanya, Ha Long Bay, as well as Okinawa's Naha and Ishigaki Island.

In addition to initially setting Kaohsiung as the home port for the SuperStar Aquarius, Star Cruises also stated that it plans to design future itineraries with both Keelung and Kaohsiung as home ports. Furthermore, this year, the SuperStar Virgo will make 27 calls at the Port of Kaohsiung to meet the demands of southern Taiwan’s market.

Star Cruises noted that the new itineraries departing from Keelung allow travelers to visit Japan’s Ishigaki Island, Kagoshima, Nagasaki, and South Korea’s Jeju Island in one trip. In Taiwan, a newly launched 8-day, 7-night itinerary departing from Kaohsiung to Hong Kong + Sanya + Ha Long Bay is currently the only direct cruise route from Taiwan to Sanya and Ha Long Bay, with prices starting from NT$29,600. There are also Hong Kong free-and-easy trips and double-holiday packages to Okinawa. Among them, the round-trip cruise option to Hong Kong offers choices of 5-day and 4-day trips, starting from NT$8,800, while flight-plus-cruise options for Hong Kong trips of 3 or 4 days start from NT$9,800.
