Most cruise ships typically offer delicious food, activities like golfing, fitness, swimming, and drinks at the bar. But did you know? There's a brand-new cruise ship that has brought a whole range of thrilling activities on board—including water slides, cycling in the sky, and even an IMAX cinema has been installed onboard.

The Carnival Vista is the latest cruise ship to be launched by Carnival Cruise Line (Carnival Cruise Company), built by Italy’s Fincantieri. It is set to make its maiden voyage in May 2016, with Mediterranean itineraries stopping at ports in Italy, France, Spain, Croatia, and the departure port of Turkey, carrying approximately three to four thousand passengers.

According to AFP, the Carnival Vista is expected to begin its maiden voyage in spring 2016, bringing this ship—the first-ever cruise ship with an IMAX cinema at sea—into open waters. The theater screen is as high as three decks and will show the latest Hollywood blockbusters, among other films. There are also many unique features,including the “sky ride,” where you can pedal a recumbent bike along a 250-meter suspended track while enjoying ocean views and sea breezes; nearby, the “Sky course” offers a suspended ropes course for an exhilarating climbing experience in the air. Finally, there’s a massive water park featuring a 140-meter water tube slide.Riders on inflatable rafts will go through a series of spins on the water slide, creating a disorienting and thrilling sensation. It’s especially appealing to those who love dynamic activities.
