Step into the worlds of The Hunger Games and Saw – the world’s first Lionsgate Theme Park coming to South Korea

The Hunger Games, Divergent, and Saw – films produced by U.S.-based entertainment company Lionsgate that have achieved global fame – now offer fans the chance to step right into their iconic settings and experience the thrill firsthand. The world’s first-ever Lionsgate Theme Park will be built on Jeju Island, South Korea, and is expected to open in 2019.

The world’s first Lionsgate Theme Park will be situated within the Jeju Shinhwa World resort complex on Jeju Island, covering an area of approximately 122,000 square meters. The park will feature seven themed zones based on popular movies including The Hunger Games, Twilight, Saw, Divergent, Now You See Me, and the 2018 release Robin Hood.

Utilizing cutting-edge technology, the park will offer a variety of rides, attractions, and dining experiences. It will also use 4D live-action techniques to recreate the streets and towns from the films, enabling visitors to step into these cinematic worlds and become part of the action. Each themed zone will include dedicated restaurants and cafés, along with various entertainment performances. Set to follow in the footsteps of Universal Studios, this will be another major movie-themed amusement park.
