Taipei Post Office will host the “Taipei Delivers Warmth, Calligraphy Brings Couplets” event on February 12 and 13 before the Lunar New Year from 14:00 to 16:00 on the first floor lobby of Taipei North Gate Post Office. Several renowned calligraphers will be invited to create creative Spring Festival couplets with auspicious meanings on-site, and the public is welcome to come and collect them.

Taipei North Gate Post Office is a Grade III historic building. Earlier this year, the Postal Museum set up its North Gate branch here. The historic architecture is majestic yet rich in delicate details, making it a worthwhile destination for both adults and children seeking an insightful cultural experience. The event spans two days. Visitors are welcome to tour the 2nd-floor North Gate branch, then present the on-site distributed postcard with the “Commemorative Postmark” at the first-floor couplet calligraphy station to receive creatively crafted couplets symbolizing good fortune and continuity.
