Come admire the romantic snow lanterns and ice-covered trees at Oirase Gorge and Mount Hakkoda in Aomori this winter. EVA Air launches direct flights from Taoyuan to Aomori in November.

Traveling to Japan’s Tohoku region this winter just got easier. EVA Air has announced that from November through March 2018, it will operate charter direct flights between Taipei (Taoyuan) and Aomori Airport, offering two round-trip flights per week to bring travelers directly to Aomori and experience the charm of its winter tourism.

From November 3 through March 13, 2018, EVA Air will operate flights between Taipei (Taoyuan) and Aomori every Tuesday and Saturday. The outbound flight departs from Taoyuan Airport at 9:50 AM and arrives at Aomori Airport at 2:25 PM local time. The return flight leaves Aomori Airport at 4:35 PM local time and arrives at Taoyuan Airport at 7:55 PM Taiwan time.

The Taipei (Taoyuan)–Aomori route will be operated using an A321 aircraft, offering a total of 184 seats. According to Japanese media reports, Aomori Governor Shingo Mimura expressed hope that the charter flights will further enhance exchanges between Taiwan and Aomori, allowing more Taiwanese travelers to experience the charm of Aomori in winter.
