29 schools open for camping during Spring Festival — Pingtung County Government: Please take all trash away with you

Campus camping has become another choice and experience for overnight stays while traveling. To promote the scenic beauty of schools within the county and nearby attractions, as well as to provide accommodation options for travelers during the Spring Festival, the Pingtung County Government is once again opening up school grounds for camping activities this year. A total of 29 schools will be open during the Spring Festival period for travelers who have plans to go out — those interested can check them out.

The campus camping program during the winter vacation (Spring Festival) runs from January 28 to February 23. Expanded to include a total of 29 schools such as Lingyun Elementary School in Pingtung City, Wandan Elementary School in Wandan Township, Houzhuang Elementary School in Jiuru Township, Gaoshu Elementary School and Taishan Elementary School in Gaoshu Township, Tuku Elementary School and Tuku Guo Branch School in Ligang Township, Yu’ying Elementary School in Neipu Township, Wanlong Elementary School in Xinpi Township, Qiaodeguo Elementary School in Fangliao Township, Donggang Elementary School in Donggang Town, Wulong Elementary School and Gangxi Elementary School in Xinyuan Township, Linbian Elementary School and Qifeng Elementary School in Linbian Township, Jiadong Elementary School in Jiadong Township, Daping Elementary School in Hengchun Town, Kenting Elementary School E’lun Branch, Checheng Elementary School Wenquan Branch in Checheng Township, Manzhou Elementary School in Manzhou Township, Jialu Elementary School in Jianshan Township, Changrong Baihe Elementary School in Majia Township, Jiayi Elementary School, Beiyeh Elementary School, Qingye Elementary School in Sandimen Township, KouShe Elementary School, Wenle Elementary School in Laiyi Township, and Danlu Elementary School in Shizi Township, as well as Mudan Elementary School in Mudan Township — all offering camping opportunities.

It is especially important to note that all the schools being opened welcome all visitors to use their facilities. However, during the continuous Spring Festival holiday period, the Pingtung County Government reminds the public that there will be no school staff on duty. To help maintain environmental cleanliness, all campers are strongly advised to register and make reservations in advance according to the school’s regulations. During the camping period, please strictly follow the rules: no open fires or cooking, no unauthorized power connections, no littering, and no loud noise. Before leaving, please clean up the area and take all trash with you to help keep the campuses clean and peaceful.
