Giving red envelopes to welcome the Year of the Sheep – Star Cruises brings the God of Wealth to visit a nursing home

Following their Christmas visit to cancer-stricken children at Sabah’s Likas Hospital, employees of Star Cruises’ SuperStar Aquarius once again joined members of the Sabah Hoteliers Association on February 12, 2015, to visit the staff and residents of Sri Pritchard Nursing Home in Sabah, celebrating the Lunar New Year of the Sheep with them in advance.

Star Cruises stated that it has maintained close collaboration with the Sabah Hoteliers Association, sharing and fulfilling their corporate social responsibilities by helping disadvantaged groups and those in need. This time, supervisors and employees of SuperStar Aquarius arranged for professional performers, mascots, and the God of Wealth from the ship to present a series of performances for the residents of Sri Pritchard Nursing Home, and also gave red envelopes and gifts to over 80 staff members and elderly residents.

Star Cruises added that besides this visit to the elderly, both Star Cruises and the participating Sabah hotels had set up donation boxes to encourage the public to show kindness and contribute to Sri Pritchard Nursing Home.
