All-you-can-eat restaurant uses marketing to attract customers — Hinoya Japanese Cuisine hosts a yukata afternoon tea party

As competition in the all-you-can-eat dining segment intensifies, Hinoya Japanese Cuisine, known for its premium Japanese all-you-can-eat offerings, has been continuously enhancing its menu. Recently, the restaurant partnered with a kimono shop from Kyoto to launch a yukata (or kimono) afternoon tea party. This marketing approach combines gourmet food with immersive experiences, aiming to attract first-time diners to sign up. The second yukata afternoon tea party will take place on September 15.

Positioned as a Japanese cuisine buffet, the Zhongshan North Road branch of Hinoya boasts a unique tree-lined avenue and a modern Japanese-style interior, creating an atmosphere as if you’re in Japan. The newly launched yukata afternoon tea party offers the existing afternoon tea buffet, along with specially crafted unlimited fruit cocktails available only for the event. Traditional yukata rental services are provided by a Kyoto-based kimono shop with over 60 years of history. On-site staff will assist with dressing and offer instant photo souvenirs. Customers who bring their own yukata collections are also welcome to join the fun. (Yukata rental fee: NT$250 for adults / NT$150 for children)
