With only two days left of the Spring Festival, those still unsure where to go for photos and fun might want to check out Taichung’s “Anime Mural Alley.” Originally famous for its One Piece murals, the alley added characters from Naruto and Kochikame (Japan’s Cop-Puncher) just a few months ago. Visitors can not only admire these themed anime figures from afar but also take photos as if these characters have come to life.

A small alley has come alive thanks to One Piece. The owner of the motorcycle shop at the entrance of the mural alley is a big fan of the series and displays many One Piece collectibles inside the store. Walking further into the alley from the shop, you’ll find not only One Piece-themed murals but also SpongeBob SquarePants, Naruto, and even characters from Blue Exorcist, Bleach, Hunter x Hunter, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Detective Conan. The painted characters are vividly expressive and skillfully drawn, making this a fun spot to visit during the New Year.
