Beautiful Waterplay Secret Spot Reopens: 7 Nature Trails Managed by Luodong Forest District Office to Reopen on the 16th

The Luodong Forest District Office announced that seven community trails under its jurisdiction—including Shitoushan Trail, Jingualiao Fish and Fern Trail, Jiaoxi Horse-Racing Ancient Trail, Our Lady Mountain Hiking Trail, Songluo Trail, Jiuliaoxi Nature Trail, and Quantoumu Nature Trail—will reopen on September 16.

In response to Typhoon Talim, the community nature trails managed by the Luodong Forest District Office were preemptively closed starting September 13 to ensure the safety of the tourism environment and recreational activities. Considering that the typhoon circulation was closest to the land in the early morning to morning hours of September 14, with intermittent rainfall still occurring in northern and northeastern Taiwan, the Luodong Forest District Office plans to continue inspecting the environmental conditions and facilities in various areas over the next two days, with reopening scheduled for September 16.

Additionally, the Linmei Shiban Trail has been temporarily closed until December 31 due to a slope collapse caused by heavy rainfall that interrupted the trail; repairs and slope stabilization work are required before reopening. The Xinliao Waterfall Trail is completely closed until November 16 due to Phase II construction work on the trail. The Chaoyang Trail, Su-Hua Ancient Trail – Danan’ao Crossing Section, and Nanao Ancient Trail remain closed as restoration work continues following damage from previous typhoons.
