This transitional month between summer and autumn brings limited-time, stunning flower seas across the island. Among them, the northern Chinese chive blossoms, central cosmos flowers, and eastern daylily blooms are the most spectacular and enchanting. Since these floral displays will only last until the end of September, flower enthusiasts are urged to seize the chance to capture their most beautiful moments.

Taoyuan Daxi Chinese Chive Blossom Sea

Located in Taoyuan, the Chinese chive blossom fields have become a romantic and picturesque sightseeing and photography spot unique to Daxi in September. There are two main chive blossom fields: one near the yellow house at No. 407 Daying Road, and another tucked away in Zhongxin Village, accessible via Lane 1320 off Daying Road, alongside the farmland by Daying Road in Daxi, Taoyuan. The bloom season lasts only about a month, so visitors should plan their trip soon.

Hualien Liushishi Mountain Daylily Sea

Hualien’s most anticipated summer event, the “Liushishi Mountain Daylily Season,” kicked off in mid-August. Vast golden trumpet-shaped blooms cover the mountainsides, creating undulating carpets of color that shimmer under the sunlight. From elevated viewpoints, you can admire the sweeping beauty of the daylily sea across Liushishi Mountain, while various observation decks offer unique perspectives. This year’s daylily bloom is expected to last until September 24.
