I’ve lost count of how many years I’ve lived in Zhongli, but ever since moving to Taoyuan, I’ve visited quite a few of its famous attractions as well as some hidden gems.

I’ve heard for ages that Little Wulai in Taoyuan has a super popular "skywalk," but I never got the chance to visit. Now the skywalk has been upgraded to version 2.0—well, that’s an interesting way to put it.

It’s said to be a transparent skywalk, with glass that’s even more light-transmitting, allowing visitors to clearly see the waterfall above and enjoy an even stronger sense of floating mid-air. Wow, that sounds so thrilling!!

Unfortunately, when we visited, the weather was overcast and rainy, so we couldn’t fully appreciate the transparency of the glass. We’ll just have to save that experience for next time!!

Right next to the skywalk, the newly completed "Sky Rope Bridge" opened on February 14, 2015. It spans 70 meters in length and 50 meters in height, with a strength capable of bearing 120 tons, crossing both sides of the Dali Gan Stream.

Walking the rope bridge and nearby paths takes about 20 minutes, during which you can admire three beautiful waterfalls. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great that day, so we only walked back and forth across the rope bridge to get a little thrill weaving through the forest valley.

I initially thought the rope bridge would sway a lot, and I didn’t dare let go at first, clutching the ropes on both sides.

But surprisingly, it felt very stable with barely any swaying. Wow, the design is really impressive!!

It may look scary, but walking on it is super comfortable. Moving through the valley, with a gentle mountain breeze brushing your face and the fragrance of the woods in the air, there’s a serene atmosphere that’s both relaxing and soothing.

Friends who come to the skywalk next time, don’t miss the newly built "Sky Rope Bridge"!! Currently, tickets for both the skywalk and the sky rope bridge are sold together.

The newly built "Sky Rope Bridge" connects Yixing Suspension Bridge, Shuizhen Ancient Trail, Dragon-Phoenix Waterfall, Heping Suspension Bridge, Wind-Rocking Rock, Skywalk, and the Waterside Green Corridor...

Nearby facilities in Yixing and Luofu areas are linked together into a scenic tourist belt. Next time you visit, don’t forget to slow down and take your time exploring the surroundings!!
