The Taipei International Travel Fair kicks off in October with a record 68-country presence ⟦1

Taiwan’s annual tourism highlight, the “2017 ITF Taipei International Travel Fair,” will be held from October 27 to October 30 at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1. This year, the event will feature 1,650 booths—an increase of 200 from last year—including 68 country/region booths, the highest number in the fair’s history, and is expected to generate over NT$3 billion in economic impact. 今年台北国际旅展以“来游台湾，趣看世界”为主题，欲将旅展现场打造成一场热闹缤纷的嘉年华会，由于ITF的高人气，今年展览吸引超过60个国家前来参展，其中东欧的波斯尼亚更是首次来台，近年旅游人数增加许多的中南美洲巴拉圭、智利、大洋洲的索罗门都在多年未参展后再度来台。

此外，今年中国大陆12年来首次缺席台北国际旅展，ITF筹委会主委苏成田表示原本的“海峡两岸台北旅展”展区将提供给其他旅行社、政府及饭店业者，台湾地区的中央、地方政府也积极投入参与，宜兰馆、台北馆、苗栗馆和屏东馆等多个地方展摊将展现台湾特色风貌。
