The Kaohsiung Exhibition Center International Travel Fair opens on the 6th and runs for four consecutive days, with over 900 booths — the largest scale in the history of travel fairs in Kaohsiung. Tigerair Taiwan, which launched its Taipei and Kaohsiung to Macau routes in December 2014, is participating in the Kaohsiung International Travel Fair for the first time this year. To show its sincerity, the airline will give away 40 round-trip tickets from Kaohsiung to Macau over the weekend. Tigerair Taiwan stated that as the first Taiwanese low-cost carrier to operate out of Kaohsiung’s Kaohsiung International Airport (KHH), it hopes to use this opportunity to let the people of southern Taiwan experience its distinctive service qualities of “warmth, enthusiasm, and sincerity.” It also aims to familiarize more southern residents with the low-cost carrier’s customizable consumption model of “buy what you need, choose what you want.”
