Winter is the off-season for tourism in Penghu. To attract visitors to see the island’s new winter face, the Penghu County Government is now planning to distribute travel vouchers. As long as you meet the specified conditions, you can receive a NT$500 travel voucher that can be used to offset your current expenses.

The Penghu County Government Tourism Department plans to distribute vouchers from December this year until the end of March 2018. As long as you are not a resident of Penghu, you can receive a NT$500 travel voucher by presenting your flight or ferry ticket for the trip, along with your ID card or passport, and by staying at a legally registered hotel or homestay in Penghu for at least two consecutive days. The voucher can be used to offset your current expenses.
