The “Lin Chupi Cotton Tree Avenue,” stretching several kilometers in Baihe District, Tainan, has recently gone viral after being listed by foreign media as one of the world’s 15 most beautiful floral streets. The cotton tree season is expected to begin on the 14th, and the Siraya National Scenic Area Administration has specially prepared a convenient transportation guide to help visitors reach this globally renowned flower avenue as quickly as possible.

The Siraya Scenic Area Administration stated that the cotton tree season usually occurs between March and April each year, and the blooming period is short, lasting only about two weeks. The Lin Chupi Cotton Tree Avenue has long been a popular attraction in Tainan, mainly located along County Road 90 and nearby stretches. On the 6th, the Baihe District Office said that currently, the best floral conditions can be found along County Road 90 toward Houbi Tugou, while the flowering on Xiaonong Road is only about 20% complete and has not yet fully bloomed. Visitors will need to wait a few more days.

The “Lin Chupi Cotton Tree Season” will kick off on the 14th, and the Siraya Scenic Area Administration has also compiled three transportation options for visitors:

1. Drivers

You can set your navigation to “Lin Chupi Cotton Tree Avenue in Baihe” or nearby sites such as Yufeng Elementary School or Dazhu Elementary School in Baihe, Tainan [Coordinates: 23.377469, 120.409471]. Take National Freeway No. 3 and exit at the Baihe Interchange, then head toward Baihe.

2. Public Transport Users

Visitors using public transport can take a train to Houpi Railway Station, then transfer to the Huang 10 bus (bound for Zhen’an Temple), and get off at Tugouli Station. From there, walk 1.7 km, which takes about 20 to 30 minutes, to reach the destination.

The Tainan Transportation Bureau stated that the Huang 10 bus operates only six times a day, with limited services, so those wishing to take the bus back to Houpi Railway Station should be mindful of the schedule.
