Following Singapore, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Macau, Taiwan’s Tigerair has confirmed its fifth new destination—and one of high interest among Taiwanese travelers—Tokyo, set to launch in early April. On the morning of the 10th, Tigerair verified that its Japan-bound flights are currently under final review by the relevant authorities, with a result expected shortly. “Yes, we plan to launch flights in early April, with morning departures and afternoon returns. Ticket prices are still under internal discussion, and the sale start date will be announced once approved by Japanese authorities.”

It is understood that Tigerair’s Taoyuan-Tokyo route will operate seven flights per week, meaning you can fly to Tokyo every day—it’s very convenient. According to the “Japan Cherry Blossom Frontline” information, Tokyo’s cherry blossoms are expected to reach full bloom on March 26. The early April launch timing means you can catch the cherry blossom season and enjoy a blossom-themed trip.
