March 12th is Arbor Day！Taiwan Railways sells “Tree Baby Vegetarian Bento”

In support of the Forestry Bureau’s “Afforestation and Caring for Taiwan” campaign, Taiwan Railways Administration, starting from Arbor Day on March 12th, has jointly launched the “Tree Baby Vegetarian Bento” through Taipei Railway Restaurant, Taichung Railway Restaurant, and Kaohsiung Railway Restaurant. Each bento is priced at NT$80.

Taiwan Railways Administration stated that the “Tree Baby Vegetarian Bento” will be available for sale during the daily lunch period. Passengers can purchase it at Taipei Station, Taichung Station (on the launch day of March 12th, Xinyi Station is also available), and Kaohsiung Station, with a limit of 100 bentos per station per day. Customers who buy two “Tree Baby Vegetarian Bentos” will receive one “Tree Baby Piggy Bank” as a gift. Limited quantities are available and will be given out while supplies last.

The “Tree Baby Vegetarian Bento” includes: (1) Main dish: Oyster sauce king oyster mushrooms and bok choy. (2) Side dishes: Sliced ginkgo, sweet potato, yam bean strips, cherry tomatoes, and kumquats, featuring freshly cooked seasonal vegetables.
