Vietnamese people's "most aspired-to travel service industry" — Vietjet Air takes the top spot!

Vietjet Air has been ranked first in the "2014 Most Aspired-to Travel Service Industry Company by Vietnamese People." The ranking is compiled each year by Anphabe, a leading Vietnamese professional networking platform, and Nielsen, a global market research firm. Other top ten companies in Vietnam’s travel service sector include KFC, InterContinental Asiana, New World Saigon Hotel, Lotteria, Pizza Hut, Viettravel, Kumho Asiana Plaza, and McDonald's.

The survey involved over 15,000 local respondents from 24 different occupations and was carried out between October 2014 and January 2015. The evaluation was based on 46 criteria across six major categories: employee salary and benefits, career development opportunities, leadership, corporate culture, work-life quality, and company reputation.

Vietjet Air currently operates 28 domestic and international routes, covering major economic and tourism hubs within Vietnam as well as cities in Asia such as Taipei, Singapore, Bangkok (Thailand), Seoul and Busan (South Korea), and Siem Reap (Cambodia). Vietjet plans to continue expanding its flight network and operations in 2015, with the goal of increasing its workforce from 1,500 to 2,000 employees by the end of this year.
