Today, I’m introducing a Korean BBQ restaurant near the Oryukdo Sky Walk—Pi-gwan-cheom?bo Oryukdo Gyewan. The atmosphere is a bit more upscale, the restaurant has scenic views, but the prices aren’t very high. I think it’s pretty great. If you’re visiting the Oryukdo Sky Walk, you can plan dinner here—it’s quite atmospheric. Also, what’s special about this place is that while most places serve grilled pork or beef, this one specializes in grilled duck meat from Oryukdo.

This is the restaurant entrance—just looking at it makes you go “Wow~” It has a really nice vibe.

The restaurant is spacious and even has a water feature.

It was a bit cold that day, so no one was having BBQ outside, but it would be amazing in summer.

Looking in this direction, you can see Oryukdo.

We arrived in the evening and couldn’t explore much, but I found many Korean netizens’ reviews online.

Our dinner that day was a banquet, and as soon as we arrived at the restaurant, a four-person BBQ set was already prepared. The total was 72,000 KRW, averaging 18,000 KRW per person. How is that expensive?! It’s such good value—standing BBQ meals cost 14,000 KRW per person, and for a restaurant offering this kind of environment, I really don’t think 18,000 KRW per person is pricey.

The pre-meal sesame salad was delicious—we even got an extra serving at our table.

The kimchi here is chilled, and it’s also really tasty.

Lettuce, garlic, chili peppers, and perilla leaves for wrapping the grilled meat.

Pickled melons that help cut through the richness of the BBQ.

I love the pickled perilla leaves—they’re delicious.

A very authentic doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew).

There are three different dipping sauces to enjoy with the grilled meat.

Four servings of grilled duck meat—I had duck meat for the first time in Korea.

The portion size is actually quite generous.

It was my first time trying grilled duck meat, and I was really excited.

Pork belly—also four servings.

The pork belly slices are quite thick.

The four white pieces next to it aren’t rice cakes—they’re cheese.

Time to start grilling.

In Korea, it was my first time eating grilled duck meat, and in Taiwan, grilled duck isn’t really popular either. But this was so good!! The duck meat wasn’t gamey at all—instead, it was tender, almost like the texture of chicken thigh.

The marbled pork belly is, of course, insanely delicious.

Grilling the cheese at the end was pretty great too.

Price-wise, 72,000 KRW is the cheapest option, but if you want something nicer, Korean beef is only 80,000 KRW. Splitting that between four people, it’s just 20,000 KRW per person—I think that’s a great deal. You can enjoy grilled meat in a great environment too.
