Wu Tsung-ying, General Manager of Red Dot Hotel, said that the approximately 30-meter-long stainless steel slide was originally inspired by Google’s office spaces and cost 5 million NTD to build. Guests staying at the hotel don’t have to wait for elevators to go downstairs — whoosh — they can reach the first floor in just a few seconds. This playful design even appeals to adults.
