Swiss chocolate is definitely one of the must-try highlights when traveling, and in October, the newest chocolate museum will open in this chocolate-loving country—an attraction travelers shouldn’t miss.

According to Lonely Planet, the town of Kurthaler in Switzerland’s fourth-largest city, Bern, is where the new chocolate museum will be located. The museum is founded by the renowned local chocolate maker Camille Bloch. On the opening day, October 21, there will be related workshops, tastings, and seminars. This family-owned chocolate brand has been in development for three years, and the museum is finally set to open this year, with an expected annual visitor count of 100,000.

In such a tourist-oriented museum, visitors can find a variety of products, as well as a shop and a café.

Switzerland’s thriving chocolate industry actually has a long history—attractions like the Chocolate Train, chocolate factory tastings, and interactive chocolate museums are all tourism experiences derived from this beloved sweet treat. According to Wikipedia, CHEZ Camille Bloch is the fourth-largest chocolate brand in Switzerland.
