The online campaign “Team Up for Air Tickets & Travel to Gyeonggi-do, South Korea” has announced the results of its raffle for 60 free Asiana Airlines tickets. Three lucky winners have been selected, receiving 30, 20, and 10 tickets respectively. Starting next year, they can gather colleagues and loved ones for a company trip to Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. The list of winners will be published on the campaign webpage on December 4 (Monday).

The online raffle event “Gyeonggi-do Is the Way to Go,” held from October 26 to November 24, attracted over 300,000 page views. Nearly 1,160 netizens and 700 groups of colleagues participated enthusiastically. The draw was held publicly at KOREA PLAZA by the Korea Tourism Organization, with participation from Jeon Dong-hyun, Vice President of the Korea Tourism Organization; Kim Hong-soo, General Manager of Asiana Airlines; and Duan Tingyu, Director of the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization.

Jeon Dong-hyun, Vice President of the Korea Tourism Organization, expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic support from friends in Taiwan toward Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. He noted that Gyeonggi-do offers distinct charms in every season — snow scenery and skiing in winter, cherry blossoms in spring, water activities and well-equipped amusement parks in summer, and stunning autumn foliage across the region. The area also boasts delicious cuisine such as Suwon galbi (beef), premium-grade rice sets from Yeoju, and hearty budae jjigae (army stew). Located just about an hour’s drive from Seoul, Gyeonggi-do provides convenient access via subway and tourist buses. Visitors can also make a side trip to the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, which will be held starting February 9, 2018, to enjoy the athletes’ outstanding performances and a variety of unique experiences.
