The “Lin Chupi Cotton Tree Avenue,” stretching several kilometers in Tainan’s Baihe District, has gone viral after being recently listed by foreign media as one of the world’s 15 most beautiful floral streets. With the flower season starting on the 14th, Tainan City’s Transportation Bureau has specially arranged free shuttle buses to welcome the large crowds of flower viewers and ensure everyone can experience Asia’s only top-ranked floral avenue!

Tainan City Transportation Bureau Director Chang Cheng-yuan stated that the cotton trees in Baihe’s Lin Chupi have burst into brilliant bloom. After being selected as one of the world’s most beautiful floral streets, visitor numbers have surged dramatically. However, since Lin Chupi is an agricultural irrigation pond and adjacent to farmland roads, the influx of visitors and vehicles during the flower season will put significant pressure on local traffic. Therefore, extra bus services for Route Yellow 15 Branch (Baihe–Sha’anzuo) will be added on March 21 and 22. Buses will run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with one trip per hour to transport visitors.

Huang Yao-guo, head of Tainan’s Public Transport Division, said that the public can take the Yellow Trunk Line to Baihe Transfer Station and then transfer to the Yellow 15 Branch bus to get off at Yufeng Station. From there, just follow the signs and walk 100 meters to reach the Lin Chupi Cotton Tree Festival venue. He reminded:Visitors who use electronic transit cards to ride the Yellow 15 Branch bus can enjoy a full fare exemption..
