Courtyard by Marriott to Open in October; Six Fu Travel Group to Recruit 400 Staff

The Six Fu Travel Group held a press conference today (16th), during which its CEO, Chuang Feng-ju, stated that the group's total revenue for January and February 2015 continued the growth trend from last year, surpassing the same period of the previous year by over 21%. The Taipei Six Fu Courtyard by Marriott Hotel is set to open in the fourth quarter of this year, with development focused on three key areas and plans to recruit 400 staff.

In 2014, the overall operational growth rate of the Six Fu Travel Group exceeded 12%, with revenues from all business units significantly higher than those of the previous year (102). Among them, the Six Fu Village’s 35th-anniversary series — highly popular with families — together with the Six Fu Water Park, attracted a total of over 1.6 million visitors for the year. The Kansai Six Fu Manor, Asia’s only eco-animal-themed resort hotel, and the Six Fu Residences serviced apartment hotel both achieved record profits and revenues since their openings in 2014.

Regarding the overall tourism industry trends in Taiwan for 2015, Chuang Feng-ju mentioned that the Six Fu Travel Group will focus on three major directions: serving all customer segments, offering comprehensive travel services, and developing a full brand portfolio. The “Taipei Six Fu Courtyard by Marriott Hotel,” set to be completed in the fourth quarter, will be located above the large-scale shopping mall “Nangang Station CITYLINK,” making it the first international-brand hotel in Nangang. It is just a 5-minute drive from the Nangang Exhibition Center. To meet the needs of the opening, the “Taipei Six Fu Courtyard by Marriott Hotel” plans to recruit nearly 400 talents.
