The goldenrain tree's flowering season is around October. As a native Taiwanese species, its leaves gradually shift from emerald green to clear yellow in the fall, earning it the poetic name “Taiwan’s Golden Rain Tree.” When the flowering ends, reddish-brown seed pods cover the treetops until they darken and fall.
