Watch hit movies on the lawn for free at Taipei’s Xinyi Park – 3 “Movies Under the Stars” screenings

How about catching a movie on the grass with a picnic blanket on a breezy evening?On October 14, November 11, and December 16 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, free movies will be shown at Xinyi Plaza. The first screening on October 14 features Zootopia and The Best of Me.

The upcoming Movies Under the Stars event this coming Saturday (14th) will screen Zootopia, the Academy Award-winning Best Animated Feature from the 89th Oscars, and The Best of Me starring A-list actors such as Will Smith, Keira Knightley, and Kate Winslet.

The movie lineup for November and December has also been announced: on November 11, Ice Age: Collision Course and La La Land will be shown; on December 16, Kung Fu Panda 3 and Star Trek Beyond will be screened. Don’t miss these if you’ve been looking forward to them.

In addition to enjoying the films, the event will feature VR technology allowing participants to experience a bird’s-eye view of Xinyi District’s nightlife.Those interestedcan sign up on the event website and also receive limited-edition souvenirs.
