Children's Day holiday is here!: A complete roundup of 19 theme park deals across Taiwan

From April 3 to 6 is the Children's Day holiday, and theme parks all over Taiwan have rolled out special promotions. Here’s a list of ticket discounts at 19 theme parks, so travelers can enjoy a great time without spending too much.

New Taipei City

Wildlife Zoo Ocean World:Children visiting between 4/3–4/6, or children from New Taipei City during Children's Month (April), can enter for free with valid ID (household registration / ID card / student ID) proving they are under 12 years old (not applicable for groups); children under 6 enjoy free entry all year round.

Splendid China Coast:1. During April, children under 12 who present an exam paper with a perfect score of 100 can enter for free (must be accompanied by one paying adult).
2. During the Children's Day holiday (4/3–4/6), children under 100 cm enter for free (a cleaning fee of NT$200 applies).

Yunxian Amusement Park:During the Children's Day holiday, children under 12 will receive a sweet cotton candy upon entry.

Taoyuan County

Little People's Land Theme Park:During the Children's Day holiday, take the Hsinchu Bus to Little People's Land and show your ticket stub to purchase park admission at a special price of NT$359 (original price NT$799).

Hsinchu County

Luckyland Theme Park:On Children's Day, adults become kids too — all visitors can enjoy the child ticket price of NT$499 (original price NT$999); during the Children's Day holiday, take U-Bus and get a discount package for NT$650 (includes round-trip bus fare and one Luckyland admission ticket, original price NT$1,253).

Doraemon Science Theme Park:During the Children's Day holiday, enjoy free popular bubble activities, free printmaking DIY, and free lucky gift bags.

Miaoli County

Xihu Resort:During the Children's Day holiday, children aged 6 or above (must show relevant ID) or those taller than 115 cm can buy discounted tickets for NT$300. Children under 6 or shorter than 115 cm can enter for free when accompanied by a parent.

Travelers taking the Fengyuan Bus directly to Xihu Resort can show their bus ticket stub to buy one discounted ticket (NT$300) per stub.

Shangri-La Amusement Park:During the Children's Day holiday period, children under 12 can enter the park for free when accompanied by a parent (must present a valid ID), while parents enjoy a discounted ticket price of NT$360 (original prices: child ticket NT$280, adult ticket NT$500).

Taichung

Lihpao Land:During the Children's Day holiday period, a couples' Moonlight Discount Ticket is available for NT$299 (original price NT$598); Moonlight Tickets allow entry at 17:00.
Additionally, when taking the Ubus bus to Lihpao Land, you can purchase a discounted individual combo ticket (includes round-trip transport + park admission):
A. Taipei Main Station – Park via Ubus for NT$999.
B. Zhonggang Transfer Station – Lihpao Land via Ubus Route 155 for NT$599.
C. Tainan – Lihpao Land via Ubus for NT$899.
D. Kaohsiung/Pingtung – Lihpao Land via Ubus for NT$999.

Dongshi Forest Recreation Area: During April, from Monday to Thursday after 15:00, entry is available for NT$160 with a Starlight Ticket; children under 12 can enjoy a discounted ticket of NT$160 during the Children's Week from 4/1 to 4/6. Additionally, those entering via Fengyuan Bus can enjoy the discounted ticket price of NT$160.

Nantou County

Shanlinxi Forest Recreational Farm:On Children's Day, children under 12 can enter the park for free.

Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village:From now until 4/30, park tickets are all specially priced at NT$580 (original price NT$780), and also include a free ride on the Sun Moon Lake gondola; children under 6 or between 100 cm and under 120 cm in height can enjoy a discounted ticket of NT$390; children under 3 or under 100 cm in height can enter for free when accompanied by a parent.

Atayal Resort:During the Children's Day holiday period, children under 2 can enter for free but must be accompanied by one paying adult; those celebrating their birthday in April can enter for free upon presenting proof.

Yunlin County

Janfusun Fancyworld:From 4/3 to 4/6 during the Children's Day holiday, the adult ticket is available at a discounted price of NT$799 (original price NT$899), and all 45 rides in the park can be enjoyed unlimited times; additionally, if your ID number contains the digits 4 or 5, the ticket is only NT$100 (original adult ticket price NT$899).

Tainan

Wilderness World:During the Children's Day holiday period, all schoolchild and toddler tickets (including student discount tickets) for children under 12 who purchase entry tickets can participate in a lucky draw. In addition, fans who give a like can enjoy a discounted ticket for two people at NT$700.

Kaohsiung City

Yida World:From 4/3 to 4/7, both adults and children can enjoy a discounted ticket price of NT$580 (original adult price NT$899), but this offer requires each adult to be accompanied by one child under 12 years old when purchasing entry.

Pingtung County

8 Major Forest Amusement Park:From April 3 to April 6, elementary school-aged children and below can enter for just NT$199 (original student ticket price: NT$350), and children under 3 years old or under 100 cm tall are free (the above offers require accompaniment by a parent and are not applicable for groups).

Little Kenting Resort:On Children’s Day, children under 12 years old staying with an adult (minimum two people per booking) get free accommodation (original price: NT$800 per person, includes breakfast).

Hualien:

Farglory Ocean Park:During the Children’s Day promotion period, residents of Yilan, Hualien, and Taitung enjoy a discounted ticket price of NT$590 (original price: NT$890), and children under 12 years old can enter for NT$100 (original price: NT$590).
Visitors from outside Yilan, Hualien, and Taitung can enjoy an adult ticket price of NT$890 and a discounted child ticket (under 12 years old) for NT$390 (original price: NT$590). There will also be surprise activities on April 4.
