The French Avignon-inspired HuiChuan Art Festival brings cross-genre pop-up art to Qijin Coast

For the first time, the French Avignon-inspired HuiChuan Art Festival has moved to Qijin in Kaohsiung, officially launching on April 2. Every Saturday and Sunday afternoon, it will feature cross-genre pop-up events to energize the streets of Qijin.

Continuing its theme of “cross-genre diversity,” the 2015 HuiChuan Art Festival gathers performing artists and groups from various fields, connecting them into a series of cultural and artistic activities. With the beach and sea view of Qijin as the backdrop, and accompanied by sunset hues and sea breezes, the festival showcases the beautiful fusion of nature and art. From April 2 to May 31, every Saturday and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, it offers visitors a delightful experience of creativity around every corner, beauty with every view, and art in every moment.
