Japan’s Queued-Food Festival Debuts – Tokyo Ramen Show Five-Time Champion Also Attends

The world tour of Japan’s Queued-Food Festival makes its first stop in Taipei on April 2 at Hall 3 of the Taipei World Trade Center. Organized by Juntech, the event invites 70 popular Japanese food vendors, including award-winning ones such as Kinryu Ramen, which ranked first in the 2012 Tokyo Ramen Awards, Toyama BLACK (Toyama Burakku), a five-time winner of the Tokyo Ramen Show, and Fujinomiya Yakisoba, which has twice claimed victory in the B-grade gourmet category.

Ma Junlong, general manager of Juntech, organizer of the Japan’s Queued-Food Festival, said the event took three years to prepare, featuring 70 vendors across 100 booths. Many of the equipment and ingredients have been flown in from Japan. Exhibiting vendors include Abe Shoten’s Squid Rice Rolls, Akasaka Mini Gyoza, Omurice Cart’s Silky Egg Fried Rice, Kōdansō’s Avocado Rolls, and Sapporo Kyubei’s Seafood N...<等。

Admission to Japan’s Queued-Food Festival is NT$300, but comes with a NT$500 food voucher.(Update: The voucher consists of coupons worth NT$20 each, totaling NT$500, with a maximum discount of NT$20 per use. To use up the full NT$500, you would need to purchase 25 items.)The voucher can be used to buy various foods at the venue. Ma Junlong, general manager of Juntech, said that once the ticket is purchased, there is no limit to the number of entries on the same day—you can eat your fill, go out for a walk, and come back in the afternoon to enjoy more food.
