When it comes to the “Ding Cai Yuan Community” in Xingang, Chiayi, it’s already a long-standing local attraction. Years later, stepping back into the park, the vast space isn’t like the usual shiny exhibition halls or theme parks—worn and damaged farming tools from bygone rural days are displayed unadorned in every area. For Chen Ming-hui, chairman of the Ding Cai Yuan Development Association, these old items are what he has slowly collected over more than 10 years, all on his own.
