Results of Tamsui Heritage Museum's Celebrity Poll Announced: Chang Yu-sheng Ranks 2nd, Jay Chou 5th

The "Tamsui Legends – Legendary Figures Poll"organized by New Taipei City’s Tamsui Heritage Museumannounced its results on the 15th. Among the 18 candidates, the most votes went to the famous Dr. George Leslie Mackay from Tamsui, followed by the late singer Chang Yu-sheng, while former President Lee Teng-hui ranked sixth.

New Taipei City’s Tamsui Heritage Museum stated that the poll aimed to engage the public with Tamsui’s cultural history in an educational and entertaining way.The top six legendary figures of Tamsui will appear in COSPLAY form starting April 16, interacting face-to-face with commuters on the Tamsui MRT line.Children and adults alike are welcome to come and meet these time-traveling legends of Tamsui.

The "Legends of Tamsui Through Time" event will run from April 16 to 21. Each day, two legendary figures will appear on the platforms and inside the Red Line MRT carriages, giving the public a chance to see these iconic personalities up close. During the event, visitors who spot and take photos—or pose for a picture—with the COSPLAY characters, then upload their photos to the museum’s official Facebook page and comment on which legendary figure they met or photographed, will have a chance to win R-ticket performance tickets to the Tamsui Cloud Gate Theatre and other great prizes.

Two COSPLAY legendary figures will appear daily on the Red Line MRT platforms and inside carriages, giving the public a chance to see these iconic personalities up close.
How to Participate:
1. Spot a COSPLAY legendary figure in the Red Line MRT carriage, and take a photo or a selfie with them.
2. Upload your photo to the Tamsui Heritage Museum’s official Facebook page and comment on which COSPLAY legendary figure you saw or took a photo with for a chance to win various prizes.
Event Period: April 16 to April 21.
