High passenger traffic sees EVA Air significantly increase flights to Singapore and North America

EVA Air announced today (16th) that starting June 21, the frequency of its Taoyuan–Singapore route will increase from 7 to 10 flights per week, and further rise to 11 flights per week beginning July 1. Booking is now open, offering travelers more flexible schedules for trips to Singapore or connecting flights.

Additionally, EVA Air stated that the Singapore route will use the new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, featuring the newly designed Hello Kitty Starry Sky livery. This aircraft is configured with 39 Royal Laurel Class seats, 56 Premium Laurel Class seats, and 238 Economy Class seats, totaling 333 seats. Moreover, EVA Air also noted that the proportion of transit passengers traveling between Southeast Asia and North America via Taipei increased by nearly 40% last year. To meet strong market demand, the airline will significantly expand its Southeast Asia–North America flight network. Starting March 29, the Taoyuan–Bangkok route will resume services BR211 and BR212, increasing frequency from 15 to 18 flights per week. For the North American market, in addition to the new Taoyuan–Houston route launching on June 19, flights to Seattle will increase from 5 to 7 per week starting March 25. From December 12, flights to Toronto and Vancouver will also rise from 4 to 5 per week. The total number of North American flights will gradually increase from 55 to 63 per week, providing transit passengers with more comprehensive and convenient air connections between North America and Southeast Asia via Taipei.
