A Major Event in the Independent Music Scene"Tainan May Jam Tainan May Music Festival"Held on May 9 and 10 at Hutoupi Scenic Area, this year the festival uniquely combines grassy fields and picnics to become the "May Grassland Picnic Concert." The timing also coincides with Mother’s Day, and Hutoupi Scenic Area is offering moms free entry as a special promotion, so families can enjoy the indie music experience together.

Originating from a music-loving German who loves Tainan, the May Music Festival selects over 20 diverse international indie bands to perform live, chosen for their musical expertise. This year marks the first time the festival is combined with a picnic and also the first year it’s free to enter—just purchase an entry ticket to Hutoupi Scenic Area to enjoy the show.
