To help the public learn more about AirAsia, the Group CEO of AirAsia Tony Fernandes is visiting Taiwan for the first time today. Tony Fernandes stated that this year, in addition to the already launched Taipei–Kota Kinabalu route, AirAsia will also launch new flights such as Kaohsiung–Kuala Lumpur starting next month. Additionally, starting April 17, a 48-hour special sale will be held, with Taipei direct flights to Kota Kinabalu available for just ₱01.

AirAsia announced that this special sale will run from 00:00 on April 17 to 23:59 on April 18. Taipei direct flights to Sabah, Kuala Lumpur, and Kota Kinabalu start from just ₱01 (excluding tax; including tax from ₱641), with connections via Kuala Lumpur to destinations such as Singapore, Phuket, Yogyakarta, and Lombok starting from ₱943 (excluding tax; including tax from ₱1490). All discounted fares are valid for travel between May 1 and July 31, making them perfect for planning a summer vacation trip.
