May Snowfall Begins: Bustling Flower Viewing Events in Sanchih and Shiding

Known as "May Snow," the thousand-year-old tung trees are currently in full bloom across New Taipei City. To enhance the enchanting snowy-white floral scenery with a lively atmosphere, the New Taipei City Government is also hosting events in Sanchih and Shiding, inviting the public to come together and enjoy the romantic blossoms.

Sanchih
On April 26 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the New Taipei City Tamsui Land Administration Office, in conjunction with the “New Taipei City Sanchih Hakka Tung Blossom Season – Art, Color, and Fun with Tung Blossoms” event, is holding legal consultation services and Facebook like-gathering activities. Participants at the event can receive one practical small gift, limited to 50 gifts and while supplies last.

Shiding
Shiding is holding the “Snowflakes of Tung Blossoms Fluttering with Tea Aroma” hiking event on May 2. Activities include trail walks, farmer's markets, eco-guided tours, tea song performances, and more. Additionally, 1,500 limited-edition souvenirs will be given out. Sanchih Hakka Tung Blossom Season – Art, Color, and Fun with Tung Blossoms

Location: San-Sheng Trail, Hengshan Village, Sanchih District, New Taipei City

Shiding “Snowflakes of Tung Blossoms Fluttering with Tea Aroma” Hiking Event
Time: May 2 (Saturday)
Transportation Information:
1. Community shuttle bus from Shiding Danlan Arts and Culture Hall runs from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, with the last return bus to the arts hall at 3:00 PM.
2. Take the Green 12 bus from Xindian MRT Station (operated by Xindian Bus) to Fengluzui Station (not a shuttle bus).
