The Kaiying Ferry enters cross-strait shipping service – Special round-trip fare between Taiwan and Fujian for just 4,700 yuan

The Kaiying Ferry, a roll-on/roll-off passenger vessel operating between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, has officially resumed full service after undergoing testing starting April 17. From now until June 30, the ferry will sail from Pingtan to Taipei every Monday and Saturday, and from Pingtan to Taichung every Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. In addition, the Lina Ferry continues to operate between Taipei and Pingtan every Tuesday and Wednesday, ensuring daily high-speed ferry services between Pingtan and Taiwan.

To celebrate the relaunch of the Kaiying Ferry, fares for general passengers have been reduced from 6,150 yuan to 4,700 yuan (tax included) until the end of May. Group tickets also come with additional discounts of over one thousand New Taiwan Dollars.

Operators of the Kaiying Ferry stated that to achieve a “seamless sea-land travel experience,” passengers can take a direct bus from Pingtan A’qian Wharf to Fuzhou Baolong Plaza or Fuzhou South Railway Station, with a fare of 55 yuan. Additionally, local travel agencies have prepared a number of new buses seating 16 to 55 people to accommodate Taiwanese tour groups.
