Hu Li passed by this 【Black Hambuger】 many times and thought it had a nice vibe — perfect for hanging out with friends. The burger uses exclusive black bread, and that chocolate aroma totally hits the sweet tooth spot XD Plus, there’s a melty peanut butter version... salty-sweet and so satisfying. Sally really liked it too. If only the burger calories weren’t so high... she’d totally want to go back right away ( ´•%%%ω•%%%` )

Black Hambuger offers both regular beef and fully handmade specialty beef — we went for the handmade one this time ^^ Since the beef is custom-ground, the texture is rich and super juicy. If your budget allows, we recommend going for the handmade burger.

【Peanut Bacon Handmade Beef Burger】with black bread (includes fries) NT$260 per serving

Just looking at this is mouthwatering enough.... (´Ａ｀。) When it was served, it nearly made the girls scream～～ so much filling and main ingredients, any girl would be stuffed (excluding big eaters)! The bacon is nicely seared and glossy, layered over the peanut butter — so pretty. There even seems to be a layer of cream underneath (´⊙ω⊙`) Okay, this is just too much. Eating this might mean a lot of treadmill time... haha XD

Sally thought they forgot to put the beef in because it looked so full. But when she lifted the top, she found a plump, handmade beef patty (〃∀〃) But it’s so thick... how is a girl supposed to eat this～～～ (Do I have to abandon my last 0.1 cm of dignity?) To keep up appearances, we decided to use knife and fork and cut it into manageable bites. Girls on dates can eat like this too.

The veggies on the plate can be mixed and matched however you like — happiness is what matters most. Did you notice that the sliced black bread has a hidden filling inside? — no wonder it tastes so intensely chocolatey :) Sweet tooth lovers are recommended to try the black bread (Q´∴Q), while those who prefer just a hint of peanut butter sweetness should go for the white bread.

Seeing that fully handmade burger patty is just satisfying AF. Meat lovers simply can’t resist its charm～～～ The staff at Black Hambuger mentioned it’s hand-pattied by the chef. It’s a bit pricier than regular patties, but it’s worth it. We’re not big fans of pre-made patties... some are dry and crumbly, but the handmade ones really appeal to meat-loving Sally XDD Cutting into it reveals juicy meat juices — glistening and super tempting.

Out of modesty, Sally ate it in a very proper, Western-style way..... (*ˇωˇ*人) But if you’re a dude or someone who doesn’t care about such formalities (Xiao Hu sits there wide-eyed), just take big, hearty bites. Trust us, it’ll taste even better that way.... haha (´,,•ω•,,)&a

When she bit into the black bread, Sally discovered... not only chocolate sauce but also some kind of nutty bits～～ This bread is specially made and delivered by a vendor. Black Hambuger really put in the effort.

【Signature Deluxe Sea & Land Burger】Choose pork or beef with shrimp or chicken cutlet (includes fries) NT$260

Since Xiao Hu didn’t want beef, he ordered the Signature Deluxe Sea & Land Burger.... The shop kindly swapped the beef patty with pork ^^ This gives people who want a burger but don’t eat beef another option. Just ask the staff to adjust it without compromising the taste.

This one has more of a fried-food feel, great for those who usually enjoy that style. (There’s chicken and shrimp cutlet.) Xiao Hu isn’t used to it, but he could still appreciate the crispy texture and freshness. The pork patty has cheese slices on both the top and bottom layers..... Sally wonders who Black Hambuger is trying to challenge (;´锭?多)

We only sliced it open to show you guys.... Xiao Hu didn’t even need a knife and fork (%o 5□′)%o?┴─┴ The top shrimp cutlet is actually homemade by Black Hambuger too. Oh my gosh～～ there’s an entire shrimp inside. Haha, it’s real... but we accidentally cut off the tail = = So if you get one, enjoy the shrimp properly.

The Deluxe Sea & Land burger filled us up more than the beef burger did～～～ it’s definitely a manly meal XDD (Xiao Hu takes a hit) The fried chicken cutlet isn’t dry at all. The patties at Black Hambuger all have a good juicy feel — we really liked them ^^ Want something even heartier? Stack on the fries too..... then see who among your friends has the biggest mouth ┐(´д`)┌

【Mexican Chili】Add-on +NT$20

Spicy food lover Xiao Hu insisted on adding a side of Mexican chili.... and it was quite flavorful d(d＇∀＇) People who can handle spice can pair it with their burger — it helps cut through the richness and adds flavor.

【¬Upgrade Combo】Unlimited drinks at the beverage bar

Combo A (includes drink) +NT$40 / Combo B (includes drink + soup) +NT$70 / Combo C (includes drink + soup + dice chicken balls) +NT$100

Both Xiao Hu and Sally upgraded to Combo B, which lets you choose your favorite drink and comes with hot soup. (^u^)

American-style burgers really go best with a drink.... If you don’t want to eat too much, you can go with Combo A that includes a drink.

Options include cola, juice, and tea. Prefer it colder? Just add ice yourself.

The soup that comes with Combo B is pretty good. It arrived steaming hot.... soup lover Xiao Hu loved it = = When hot, it’s not overly thick, and you can see bits of corn inside. As a side, it’s solid.

【Peanut Butter Chocolate Crispy Fries】Single order NT$90

This is definitely a must-order item that both Xiaohu and Sally strongly recommend!* m*?U拴 m* H') ' ?诒纠粗皇翘鹗晨氐ゴ肯肼?阕约旱挠???幌氲较淌晨匾苍薏痪?诋....（惊）The freshly fried fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, drizzled with a generous amount of savory-sweet peanut butter—so tempting!! The chocolate sauce is only added sparingly for flavor, so the whole thing isn’t overly sweet. It’s an absolute must for a girls’ afternoon tea~~~

I secretly think people who love cheese fries would probably enjoy these peanut butter chocolate crispy fries too XDD And they don’t harden when they cool... the peanut butter still melts in your mouth!! (But it’s best eaten hot) We also took some to go and reheated them at home—they were still delicious~~ But of course, eating them in-store is the best experience 0?*´∀ 霜)?

The interior of Blake Burger is simple and cozy!! The window seats have good lighting, and the seats further inside have a nice atmosphere^^ There are various seating options—perfect for a romantic date for two or hanging out with friends~~~ Even if you’re going solo, there are bar-style seats available.... It feels pretty great.

Overall, our experience at Blake Burger was great~~ If you’re having beef, we highly recommend the peanut butter series of handmade specialty burgers:) Both of us prefer non-fried burgers, so the Deluxe Seafood & Beef might be more suited for fried food lovers....... Aside from the main burgers..... what Xiaohu and Sally couldn’t stop thinking about was the peanut butter chocolate crispy fries~~ A personal favorite XD It’s a great spot to occasionally hang out with friends, chat over burgers, or enjoy fries as an afternoon treat!!

Recommended for those who love American-style burgers and want a mix of savory and sweet flavors in their meals &a(*´∀｀*)人(*´∀｀*)&a
