Beitou Hot Springs Meets Nostalgic Music: Cultural & Food Festival Kicks Off This Weekend

Now in its fourth year, the Beitou Gourmet Cuisine Culture Festival is themed “Nostalgic Music” this year and will be held from May 1 to 3 on the south side of Xinbeitou MRT Station. In addition to inviting singer Chang Yuxia to recreate the charm of nostalgic music, the event will also feature a nostalgic music concert, combining the exquisite culinary skills and creative plating demonstrations of master chef A Fa, allowing the public to enjoy an all-in-one cultural experience of food, drinks, fun, and entertainment in Beitou.

The “2015 Taiwan Beitou Nostalgic Music Culture & Food Festival” combines music with hot spring cuisine, featuring outdoor lounge seating, local cultural performances, charity sales, creative culture booths, nostalgic music karaoke and competitions, and other diverse activities. It creates a relaxing space filled with music and showcases the unique image of Beitou. During the event, various businesses will also offer promotions on hot spring baths, accommodations, and dining, ensuring visitors can enjoy food, drinks, and entertainment all in one go.

The organizers also remind the public that from May 1 to 3, parts of the streets around the event venue will be closed and traffic controlled during certain time periods.
