Taiwan Exclusive: A Café Where You Can Enjoy Coffee with Famous Dolls and View Taipei 101

Want to sip coffee and enjoy delicious food in a spacious outdoor space while overlooking Taipei 101, with adorable and well-known dolls by your side? Trine&Zen Doll Café, located on the 4th floor of Breeze Songgao, features six popular dolls placed outdoors. These dolls were custom-made in Korea and brought to Taiwan—making this the very first doll café in the country.

“Trine&Zen” is an in-house dining brand of the Breeze Group, offering casual restaurants that blend Eastern and Western cultural concepts. The new outdoor restaurant on the 4th floor of Breeze Songgao is the brand’s third branch worldwide. The six popular dolls placed outdoors at Trine&Zen Doll Café were custom-made in Korea and brought to Taiwan. Guests can not only enjoy coffee and food in a spacious outdoor space, but also take in views of Taipei 101, all while being accompanied by cute dolls.

Additionally, Trine&Zen has newly appointed Sun Young from Korea as the Executive Chef. He has previously worked at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, the InterContinental Hotel in Australia, the Hyatt Hotel in Korea, and the renowned NOBU restaurant in Tokyo, Japan, famous for its creative Japanese cuisine. Distinguished guests have included former U.S. President George W. Bush, Beyoncé, and PSY. In 2011, he was awarded the Australian Best Chef Hat, an honor equivalent to a Michelin star in Australia, and he specializes in Japanese, Thai, Australian, and Korean cuisines. With Sun Young’s arrival, Trine&Zen’s Songgao store and doll café will introduce new dishes, including the “Union Sandwich” and “Korean-style Burger,” which are expected to be available in about three weeks.
