The 2nd branch of Setagaya Ramen to open on May 1st, introducing a new flavor: Genki Vegetable Ramen

The only Japanese ramen shop in Japan to have received the "Best Of New York" award, Setagaya Ramen, will officially open its second store in Taiwan, the Taipei Station Front Store, on May 1st, following the opening of its Taipei Zhongxiao Store. During the opening event, Setagaya Ramen’s president, Tsukasa Maeshima, will personally demonstrate his noodle-cooking skills. At the same time, the 2nd store will launch a new ramen dish — “Genki Vegetable Ramen,” featuring a rich pork bone broth paired with fragrant vegetables.

Since opening its first flagship store in Tokyo, Japan in 2000, Setagaya Ramen has expanded to numerous locations across Japan over the past 15 years. It entered the U.S. market in New York in 2008 and is the only Japanese food shop to have been awarded the “Best Of New York.” Its first Taiwan store (Zhongxiao Store) officially opened on March 24th, located in the Dongcheng area’s food battleground “Lane 216,” just across from Eagle Ramen, and near Sapporo Flame Ramen — making the competition increasingly fierce. The 2nd store will be located on B1 of HOYII Taipei Main Station, right opposite Taipei Railway Station.
