Cross-border collaboration with Tokyu Group starting May for discounts on shopping with an EasyCard in Japan

EasyCard Corporation announced on the 30th that starting May 1st, it will begin a cross-border partnership with Japan’s Tokyu Group. Cardholders can enjoy discounts of over 5% or special gifts when using their EasyCard at over 70 shopping malls, department stores, theme parks, hotels, restaurants, shops, and Tokyu Electric Railway across the group.

EasyCard stated that this expanded collaboration includes discounts on hotel stays and shopping within the Tokyu Group. Taiwanese travelers who purchase a one-day pass for the Izu Kyuko railway and show their EasyCard will receive an original gift. Discounts are available on the Izunokuni Ropeway, and drinks or other gifts may be offered when staying at hotels or purchasing local specialties—visitors to Izu are encouraged to show their EasyCard. Guests staying at other locations, such as the HARVESTCLUB hotel, can also receive a 500-yen discount coupon for the hotel’s shops.

In addition, ski resorts under the Tokyu umbrella—including those in Hokkaido, Nagano, Fukushima, Kashiwa City, Gunma, and Tochigi—offer discounts on gondola tickets or shopping vouchers.

This includes Tokyu Department Stores (six locations: Tokyo, Shibuya, Kichijoji, Sapporo, and New Chitose Airport), where commemorative gifts can be redeemed during the campaign period, and cash spending over a certain amount can enjoy a 5% discount. SHIBUYA 109 (Shibuya, Tokyo), KOHRINBO 109 (Kanazawa, Ishikawa), Abeno Q’s Mall (Osaka), and ranKing ranQueen drugstores (Jiyugaoka, Azabujuban, Tokyo Kita-Senju, Osaka Namba, etc.) also offer discounts or limited-edition giveaways. Premium private-brand products at aimerfeel PREMIUM in Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku can even be purchased at a 20% discount. Shopping at Tokyu Hands (locations in Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, and Shinsaibashi) comes with a 5% discount plus an original gift.

For dining and theme parks, multiple restaurants in Grandberry Mall, Machida City, Tokyo, offer discounts of 5–10% or complimentary drinks. Showing your EasyCard at various Tokyu Hotel restaurants can also get you free drinks. In Tokyo, popular spots like Odaiba DECKS’ LEGO-themed amusement park, teamLab Borderless (optical art museum), Madame Tussauds, and Tokyo Joypolis (indoor theme park) offer ticket discounts of 300–400 yen.
