Taipei Railway Station Totoro Bus Stop – Totoro Himself Appears Holding an Umbrella

Taipei Railway Station now not only features a Totoro bus stop sign, but Totoro himself has also made an appearance by the sign！ This is in preparation for the upcoming opening of the Studio Ghibli specialty store “Acorn Republic Xinyi Store.” The event has now reached its final phase. Compared to the previous phase, which only had the classic station backdrop, Totoro himself is now near the bus stop, allowing the public to take photos. Participants can also upload their photos to enter a lucky draw.

The Ghibli store is already beloved by many fans in Hong Kong. The first store will be located at ATT 4 FUN in Taipei’s Xinyi District, with an expected launch before summer. Currently, the organizers are also running an online campaign where participants can win pre-opening entry vouchers and original souvenirs by taking photos on-site and answering questions. Organizer J&T CONTENTS stated that to protect the Totoro bus stop from damage, photo-taking is prohibited beyond the yellow line and retractable barriers, and standing on the platform is not allowed.
