On the 16th, the prevailing wind will be from the southeast, with cooler mornings and evenings, and only the eastern half and northern mountainous areas seeing localized brief showers, while other regions are mostly cloudy to sunny. On the 17th and 18th, with moist air from the south and southeasterly winds, besides localized brief showers in the eastern half, there is also a chance of rain in the southern region, while other areas are mostly cloudy, with isolated afternoon thunderstorms possible in mountainous areas.

On the 17th daytime, the weather across Taiwan is mostly cloudy to sunny, with higher UV indexes—take sun protection precautions when going out.

On the 19th and 20th, a front will gradually move from South China toward the northern seas of Taiwan. Taiwan will be in the warm sector ahead of the front, with localized brief showers in the eastern half, while other regions are mostly cloudy, and localized brief thunderstorms may occur in the northern region and central-southern mountainous areas in the afternoon.

On the 20th, a front will gradually move from South China toward the northern seas of Taiwan.

Next Tuesday, the 21st, as the front passes and the northeast monsoon strengthens, the weather in the north and northeast will turn cooler, with localized brief showers in areas north of central Taiwan and the eastern half, while other regions are mostly cloudy. Additionally, from the 16th to the 21st, outlying islands such as Kinmen and Matsu may experience localized fog or low clouds, affecting visibility.
