Fear not the pandemic – Tsutaya Books expands to southern Taiwan with a new store in a premium department store

Following the opening of Taiwan’s largest TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE at CITYLINK Nangang, the sixth branch, located on the 1st and 2nd floors of Kaohsiung’s Dairei Department Store, will also open soon. This expansion into the southern Taiwan market sees the store set up in Dairei Premium, creating a 350-ping bookstore that incorporates local characteristics to deliver a harbor-city, dockside vibe unique to TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE.

The Kaohsiung TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE replaces the former Prada location in Hall A of Dairei Department Store. It is reported to begin trial operations on April 18 and officially open on April 30, with limited-edition merchandise and macaron-shaped memo pads making their Taiwan debut.
