Liang Jia Feng Wei, voted Taiwan’s No.1 radish cake, teams up with Shi Yuan Salted Chicken, one of Taiwan’s must-try salted chicken spots, to launch the [Black & White Double Delight Cake Trend Combo $135], mixing the king of cakes — “Black Tide Truffle Radish Cake” — with the ultra-popular “Original Fluffy Radish Cake,” offering both flavors in one go. During the promotion, buyers of this collab combo will also receive a Kuso anti-epidemic sticker to promote positive pandemic prevention together.

Shi Yuan Salted Chicken is a shared memory for Taipei residents, standing in Shida Night Market for 36 years. It’s one of the few salted chicken shops where you can dine in, and its curry rice is also a nostalgic favorite for many from their university days. In 2019, it opened its second branch in Ximending, attracting shoppers with its retro-style decor. Beyond its street-side shop, Shi Yuan was also an early adopter of the food delivery market.

Liang Jia Feng Wei redefines radish cake. Unlike authentic Hong Kong-style or chewy Taiwanese radish cakes, theirs has a softer, more tender texture, with clearly distinct shredded radish that tastes great even without dipping sauce. The owner experimented with adding various ingredients to the radish cake, and the surprising flavors impressed many customers.

This time, they selected the “Original Fluffy Radish Cake” with up to 50% shredded radish, letting the sweet flavor of white radish burst in your mouth, paired with the “Black Tide Radish Cake” featuring premium black truffle — breaking the common impression that truffles are hard to incorporate into Chinese cuisine.
