Due to the pandemic, not being able to fly to Europe is no problem—Taipei also has a rose garden that resembles a Versailles garden. The Taipei Rose Exhibition opened on March 25 at the Xinzhuang Park of the Taipei Flower Expo, with the floral season lasting from March 25 to April 30. Many roses are already in full bloom, and the garden cultivates over 700 varieties and more than 2,800 rose plants, making it the first rose garden in Taiwan and abroad designed around the theme of classic roses.

Taipei’s rose garden blooms year-round and features a delightful tea-like fragrance along with soft, beautiful colors, allowing visitors to enjoy the sight of blooming roses throughout the year. Located near Songshan Airport, it offers an excellent spot to watch planes land, making it a popular Instagram check-in location. Visitors can get up close as planes fly overhead and experience the powerful vibrations of their engines and the awe-inspiring proximity of their massive bodies.
