The number of overnight visitors to Macau has been increasing year by year. It's no longer just a transit destination. This year, several new hotels have opened, offering experiences like building sandcastles and playing in the waves in the world’s largest indoor wave pool, as well as cooling off in an “Ice FUN World.” The Macau Tourism Board has also partnered with ten Taiwanese travel agencies to launch the “Macau Treasure Hunt” family itinerary, with free-and-easy trips starting from as low as NT$9,999 to NT$17,500 for 3–4 days, ensuring fun for the whole family.

Lesley Leong, Director of Taiwan Market Promotion at the Macau Tourism Board, said that this year they have collaborated with ten travel agencies — including Koala Travel, Southeast Travel Service, Wing Yip Travel, Ezfly, Chan Brothers Travel, Lion Travel, EasyTravel, Sanfu Travel, Jiti Travel, and Shangshun Travel Service — to launch the “Macau Treasure Hunt” package. Travelers can choose the itinerary that best suits their needs to explore Macau’s cultural treasures, culinary delights, entertainment highlights, scientific wonders, and natural beauty.

Macau boasts spectacular large-scale performances such as “The House of Dancing Water” and “Cirque du Soleil.”

This year, visitors can check out the newly opened Galaxy Macau, which features the world’s largest indoor wave pool, as well as newly opened hotels like Banyan Tree Macau and The Okura Prestige Macau. The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel has also launched an “Ice FUN World.” Additionally, must-see attractions in Macau include world-class entertainment shows like “Cirque du Soleil” and “The House of Dancing Water,” unique Macanese-Portuguese cuisine, Michelin-starred dining, a variety of snacks, and specialty desserts.
