Taipei City – The Tourism and Travel Department today (14th) announced the results of the “Outstanding Tour Service Staff” voting, with Lü Guanrong, a third-year student in the Department of Hospitality Management at Fu Jen Catholic University, taking first place. To thank travelers who participated in the “Outstanding Tour Service Staff” campaign, the Tourism and Travel Department also drew 10 lucky winners today, who will receive a Taipei Pass card that allows unlimited rides on the metro and buses operated by Taipei City and New Taipei City for the validity period, making it easy to explore Taipei’s attractions. The list of winners can be found on the Taipei Tourism website.

The Tourism and Travel Department stated that a total of 6,100 votes were cast in the “Outstanding Tour Service Staff” voting campaign, including not only domestic travelers but also those from as far away as Canada, the United States, and Japan. These voters were motivated by the warm and friendly service provided by the city’s tour service staff and cast their ballots for their “best tour service staff.” Lü often works at the Taipei City Hall Transfer Station and the Ximen Station Tourist Service Center. Thanks to her thoughtful, attentive, and professional service, she will serve as a tourism ambassador for the Taipei City Tourist Service Center and become the new face featured on the center’s life-sized cutouts.
